During our outdoor session today we used balls (referring to them as spheres) to represent some of the planets that we can name and then we went on missions to them! We used our imaginations and pretended that we were rockets, placing our hands together above our heads to represent a rocket nose cone and then we launched off into the Solar System! We practiced our catching, throwing and dribbling skills with the planet balls after our missions were complete!
