This week in the Bluebells, we have planned and carried out an investigation to see whether friction affects movement. We decided to use toy cars in our experiment and tested them on 3 different surfaces. The table, the carpet and the tarmac outside. Our investigation showed us that friction does have an effect on movement as the car moved further on the table.
