Nursery have been focusing on aeroplanes this week. Over the last two days we have made model aeroplanes and experimented with how we could move them. As scientists we came up with some super ideas! For example, throwing them from the climbing frame and tree, attaching wool and pulling, taking them outside so that the wind could blow them and blowing them with our mouths! We discovered that air was an important aspect of how an aeroplane moves but we couldn’t produce enough our self to effectively move our vehicles so we experimented with a leaf blower! We also made some aeroplane snacks using biscuits and icing sugar as glue!
