This week in Owls they have enjoyed investigating capacity and volume. The children have been using key vocabulary to describe how much volume was in different containers such as half full, half empty, nearly half full, nearly half empty, nearly empty, nearly full, full and empty. They then estimate the capacity of different containers and then used non standard measure, a plastic cup, to find the actual.
