The Dragonflies made bread buns after reading the story of The Little Red Hen. They used a recipe, measured the ingredients and helped make the dough. Once the dough had proved, the children kneaded individual portions and prepared it to make bread buns. Once cooked, the children enjoyed buttering and spreading jam on their bun before eating it.
