Hi everyone,

I hope you are all well. Thank you for your continued support with home schooling. I know it’s tricky but we can see from Tapestry that you are all doing a great job!

Here is the work for today.

Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.

Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.

LITERACY:

  • Discuss the plot and characters. Talk about first, then, next and finally.
  • Make a story map using drawings and writing key words. Encourage your child to write key words that describe different parts of the story map.

Measuring and comparing length.

Use play dough or white tac to make 4 or 5 worms. (If you don’t have any play dough you could make paper worms of different sizes.) Put them in order from shortest to longest. Use vocabulary, size, small, big, long, short, longer, shorter, longer than, shorter than.  Repeat with different size worms.
