Dear Parents/Carers
We have been working hard to make our school environment as safe as we can for the children who will be attending when we welcome them back on 8th June.
We have a very thorough risk assessment in place which has been written following government guidance and with the support of the local authority.
We need your help to reduce the risk to our children further. We know that some of you rely on childcare, childminders, out of school clubs and others to drop off and pick up. Some younger children in nursery may attend more than one setting.
This increases the numbers of contacts that children have each day which in turn increases the risk of infection transmission. We are therefore asking you to try as far as possible to reduce the number of different contacts children have before and after school, just as we have done while they are with us.
We would like to discuss this with you so that we can agree the best way forward for your child. If you are using a childminder or an after-school provision please could you contact me on the school number 0191 469 4954 on Wednesday 3rd June between 8:30 and 3:30.
