Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.

Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.

We are learning the air sound and how to read and write it.

Write words out for your child to blend  – air, hair, pair, hear, fear, year, gair, sair, kair, kear, zeard. Adult to choose 5 words from list for child to write.

Adult to say sentences: I need to cut his hair.  Put that pair of socks on the chair. Child to write the sentences.

We are learning to explore alternative pronunciation of the g and c sounds.

Set 1 Speed Sounds 9.30 am (for children in Nursery and Reception and children who are new to English)

Simon Rickerty, who illustrates the “Ten Little” series of books made a video to teach children how to draw pirates. Why not watch the video and have a go yourself at drawing along to create your very own “Ten Little Pirate” in the style of the illustrator. Can you draw your own 10 Little Pirates?
