Good morning! Today’s home learning tasks are as follows:
Phonics
Phonics play – Tricky word Trucks. Practise some high frequency words. Select Phase 5, then phase 3 and phase 4 tricky words. Try and practise writing these words in your book.
Phonics play – Buried treasure. Phase 5 sounds. Click on ‘u-e’ and practise reading words with this sound – decide if they are real or fake. Record them in your book! See how many you get right

English
Today you are going to continue writing your non-chronological report. You will be writing the first section about ‘Koalas’’. Look back at the information you gathered last week and use this to help you build your sentences. Miss a line underneath the introduction/picture you completed yesterday and write the subheading‘Koalas’. Once you have completed your writing, you can draw a small picture.
Don’t forget:
- Capital letters, finger spaces, full stops.
- Adjectives
- Exclamation marks
- Key vocabulary
