Tulips Set Work 24.6.20

Hello Tulips,

Here are today’s home learning tasks. You have sent me some fantastic work this week, keep up the great work!

English

Spelling

Choose another activity from the spelling menu.

https://windynookprimary.org/2020/04/spelling-menu-activities/

Your spelling list this week is: girls’, boys’, babies’, houses’, sisters’, trolleys’, potatoes’, pizzas’, buses’ & arches’.

Reading

Today you will be starting a new text on purple mash called Ice-Cream Villain. You need to read chapter 3 and complete the quiz questions. Open the quiz and the chapter in two separate internet tabs so that you can re-read the text as you answer the questions.

English

Imagine your dream job and write a diary entry about what a day in your life would look like.

Maths

On conquer maths your task involves compass directions. Watch the conquer maths video to recap how to use compass directions.

Log onto times tables rockstars every day and practice your times tables.

Topic

Remember you have all week to complete your topic activities so take your time and ensure you include lots of details.

Science

On purple mash you have an activity set about electricity in the house. You need to find different electrical items in your home and explain how they work. Do they need plugged into the mains? Do they work using batteries? What are they used for?

Art

Complete at least two Draw with Rob videos using the link below.

I would love to see your artwork, so feel free to email me pictures on purple mash.

PSHE

You have another Mrs Jones advice activity. Give advice to Josh who is worried about feeling homesick on a school trip.

If you need anything or have any questions, email me on Purple Mash.

Please note that I am back in school due to the wider re-opening so it may take me a little longer to get back to you.
