Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.

LITERACY:

Look at the words (adjectives) that are used to describe each animal. How many other words can you think of to describe them? Draw the animals and write words to describe them.
PHONICS:
Choose the sounds that children need to work on. Play the game. https://www.ictgames.com/dinosaurEggs_phonics/mobile/. Ask your child to sound out the word before they read the word. Repeat with different sounds.
MATHEMATICS:
Exploring adding by counting on. Use the powerpoint or PDF attached.

Child to count the spots on the first ladybird. Then count on to add the spots on the second ladybird to find out the total. For example, count, 1234, 4… 567 4 plus 3 equals 7.
The maths sentence, 4 + 3 = 7
OTHER:
- Look at the illustrations of the farm in the book. Look at the different textures used on the tree / grass / buildings. Can you try to recreate these textures using different art materials?
- Can you create pictures of different animals using textured materials?
