Hi everyone,
This week we are going to use the Story “What the Ladybird Heard” By Julie Donalsdon for lots of the learning.
Here are the activities for today.
Article 24: You have the right to the best health care possible, safe water to drink, nutritious food, a clean and safe environment, and information to help you stay well.
Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.

LITERACY:

- Retell the story. What happened first, next, then, finally?
- Can you identify the rhyming words used throughout the book? Can you make your own rhyming dictionary, adding other rhyming words for the ones found?
PHONICS:

MATHEMATICS:
Exploring doubling. Use the powerpoint or PDF attached. Encourage the maths sentence, “double 3 makes 6” etc..
OTHER:
Explore shadows. Find some farm animals or different objects. Position them so that they make a shadow. Draw the shadows using chalk or draw the shadows on paper. Can your grown up match the animals to the shadow.
