Bluebells Council Success

This week, children in Bluebells took the opportunity to stand for School Council. The children who wished to take part in the election had to stand in front of the class and tell other children why they wanted to represent our fantastic class on the Council.

I was really impressed with how brave all the children were and each child gave a strong set of reasons for how they wanted to help improve the school. Most children spoke of their desire to spread kindness, prevent bullying and make the school a happy place to be.

Every child who stood for the Council received at least two votes in the election, and the successful candidates, with seven votes each, were: Mya and Charlie.

Well done, girls!

Due to the high quality of the other candidates, those not voted in as school councillor, will form a ‘Class Council’ to help make Bluebells even better.
