Today in LKS2 we have been sketching elements of the River Tyne. Snowdrops produces some fantastic sketches of the Tynemouth Priory, Bluebells sketched the world famous Tyne bridge and Tulips sketched the old shipyards on the Tyne. The children were given half a photograph to complete using different art mediums. We then looked at a giant drawing of the river on the yard and discussed where each feature would be, using our knowledge of the river. In class, we have been learning about the different areas of the river and their economic features. We are loving learning about the River Tyne!
