Tulips Homework 25.9.20

Well done for a fantastic week in school! Here is your homework for this week. Children will need to use their conquer maths and purple mash logins to access their homework. All children were sent home today with their logins. Links for purple mash and conquer maths can be found in the home learning section of Tulips’ class page on the school website. If you have any questions or problems regarding the homework please see me on Monday.

We will be electing new school council members next week, if your child would like to be a school council member they will be giving a short speech to the class next week. Children can think of ideas and prepare a short speech over the weekend.

Miss Hogg

English: In English we have been learning all about Roald Dahl. The children have been set a task on purple mash linked to one of Roald Dahl’s books, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Children need to name and describe three chocolate bars that they would invent if they owned a chocolate factory.

Maths: We have been learning our three and four times tables in maths. On conquer maths the children have been set questions about these times tables. If children are finding this tricky ask them to write out their times tables to use when answering questions. For further practice the children may want to use the supermovers videos linked below. Children can also still access Times Tables Rockstars.
