Dear Parent/Carer
Our school has been invited to take part in an important study to monitor infection and transmission of coronavirus within schools.
We are pleased to let you know that our school is one of only 150 schools in England that will be taking part in this COVID-19 Schools Infection Survey. This study is being led by Public Health England, Office for National Statistics and London Schools of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
Your child is eligible to receive virus and antibody tests for COVID-19 during every half term within the 2020/21 school year once they are enrolled. Please read the attached information sheet to find out more about the study and how the tests will be taken in the school.
Over the half term holidays you will receive a TEXT MESSAGE with a link to a webpage that will ask you to enrol your child onto this study. Please check your texts over the holidays to ensure that you receive this link and can register in time.
To take part in this study you will need to register your child before the end of 30th October 2020.
