Dear Parent/Carer
As a precaution, we have had to ask a class bubble to stay at home tomorrow as we have a possible positive COVID case in school. If you have not been contacted today, by a member of the Senior Leadership Team, then your child will not have been classed as a close contact and therefore just needs to attend school as normal. As soon as we have any further information we will let you know.
I’d like to reassure you that as staff have been observing social distancing measures in the staffroom and around school, no other staff or pupils will be asked to isolate if the test does come back positive.
Our cleaning schedule and hand hygiene routines have been strictly followed. I know this is a very worrying time for everyone but hopefully this goes some way to reassuring you that we’re taking the situation seriously here in school.
All children should still attend as normal. If you or your child develop any of the following symptoms please self-isolate and get a test.
• A continuous dry cough
• A high temperature
• A loss/change in taste or smell
