This week, the Snowdrops have been learning about river erosion. As part of our geography topic, Life On The Tyne, we studied the ways in which rivers can erode.
Using water and soil, we observed how a water current can move soil and rocks and then deposit them. We then looked at this in the context of real-life rivers and learned how meanders and deltas are formed.
The class collaborated superbly in their group research. They then got the chance to present their information to the class.
