In PE our focus this half term is gymnastics. For the past two weeks the children have been practising different balances with either one, two or three points of contact with the ground. The children led a fitness warm up completing different activities, such as jumping, jogging, burpees and star jumps. Then they played the mirror game copying the balances completed by their partner. The children were then tasked to create a short routine linking at least five routines together. The children created some fantastic balance routines and worked well with their partners. Take a look at some photos below of the children in action.
