This week the children have enjoyed reading the text Day Monkey and Night Monkey by Julia Donaldson. One part of the story was about shadows and how night monkey thought he saw a black monkey but it was his shadow. Luckily enough we had a sunny day so the children could go outside and explore shadows with their partner. We had to be quick as the sun was just about to go behind the clouds.
