We have had a super time finding out about Diwali this week. We made Rangoli patterns using the computer and collage materials and we also made our own Diva lamps using clay. To make the Divia lamps, we rolled some clay into a sphere, pushed our thumbs into the centre and then we pinched around the sides. After leaving the lamps to dry over night we decorated them using metallic paint and glitter. We also sang, danced and played instruments to a piece of music about Diwali.
