Today Year 5 have been looking at symmetry. We discussed what it means and where we see it in everyday life-children then looked around the classroom trying to spot symmetry. We then had a look at how we can find the line of symmetry on a 2D shape, using mirrors to help us. It didn’t take long for children to grasp this skill and move onto Problem Solving. Well done Elms!
