This term in PE we have been focusing on improving a number of key skills such as catching, throwing, running and jumping. In previous week’s we have practised throwing and catching with beanbags and today we moved on to small, soft balls. The children started off just rolling to develop control and then moved on to throwing and catching. We finished the lesson with a ‘beat the ball’ game where children have to run around the circle before the ball is passed back to their space.The Nightingales really enjoy this game and we are yet to catch anyone out because they are so fast!
