This week, KS1 have been learning all about remembrance day. We discussed why we celebrated it and why it is so important. The children watched a video about the journey of the poppy and Year 2 also tuned into a history webinar. The children then had the opportunity to decorate poppies to create a class wreath. Children in year 2 also wrote ‘Remembrance is’ poems which reflected the importance of remembering those who have served out country.
