Today in school, children from Bluebells and Snowdrops united together for the fusion of great music and great art. Children discussed Stravinsky’s classical piece ‘The Firebird’ and then, whilst listening to the full performance, they created works of art using oil pastels, with scenes they imagined as they listened to the orchestral work.
The children had some superb ideas and showed excellent imagination whilst making a fine mess of their tables and hopefully only a little mess of their uniforms!
Well done Blue-Drops!
