Good morning Year 2, I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Here is your work for today:
English- Spelling- Look at your spelling list for this week and practice them using one of the suggested ways.
English -Main task- Hansel and Gretel reading on google classroom. Read the story then match the enriched vocabulary to the right definition.
Maths- Subtraction 2 digit take away 1 digit. Complete the fluency task on google classroom. Have a go at the reasoning and then we’ll go through that on our 11am meet.
Extra Maths- Conquer maths- subtracting within 20.
ICT- Purple Mash- Practice your typing skills by completing the task set on purple mash.
Reading- We are also now providing reading for children on purple mash. Mrs Preece will set chapters of text on purple mash for you to read each day and answer questions on. If children are struggling with these texts we suggest parents read sections of it with them. For those who are significantly struggling, please contact myself or Mrs Preece as we are able to gain access to some RWI eBooks for children on a lower reading band.
