Good morning Year 2. Here is your work for today:
English- GAP- Contractions. Write the non contracted version of the word. We will go through some examples of these on our google meet.
English- Main task- Read the full story of Hansel and Gretel and answer the questions about it.
Maths- Google Classroom- Subtracting 10 from a 2 digit number.
Maths- Conquer maths- Subtraction on a number line.
Science- Watch the video about recycling, then watch the video about how to upcycle a plastic bottle to make a pencil holder. You need to design your pencil holder. How tall will it be? What will it look like? If you have the materials at home you could make a pencil pot of your own with an adult.
Reading- Read chapter 2 of Anna and the Third Leaf on Purple Mash.
