School Provision

Dear parents and carers

Thanks for your patience today as we have been organising the in school and online provision for our pupils.

Provision in school for children of key workers

We have collated the numbers of pupils expected to attend school and have decided to make year group bubbles for face to face teaching in school. Each bubble will be allocated two members of the teaching staff (from their phase) and at least 1 Teaching Assistant.  The bubbles are smaller than a ‘normal’ class size. These staff will remain constant with no movement between bubbles.  One member of the teaching staff will provide face to face teaching in the classroom, whilst the other member of the teaching staff will provide the online learning. The Teaching assistant will provide support in the classroom.

The staffing will be as follows:

Nursery – Miss. Clough, Mrs. Pedersen Wylie, Miss. Hawdon

Reception – Mrs. Ramanandi, Mrs. Short, Mrs Montague, Mrs. Cole

Year 1 – Miss. Calam/ Mrs. Ferry, Miss. Wilkinson, Mrs. Welsh and Miss. Pearson

Year 2 – Miss Crowe, Mrs. Preece, Miss. Jones, Miss. Foster

Year 3- Mr. Newman, Mr. Brown, Mrs. Boyle

Year 4 – Miss. Hogg, Mrs. Liddle, Mrs. Barnett

Year 5 – Miss. Hill, Mrs. Hope, Mrs. Bulch

Year 6- Mr. Hawdon, Miss. Tipping, Mrs. Collison

Children who are attending school need to wear school uniform.

Children attending school need to attend all week, unless they are poorly.

The school kitchen will be open to provide hot meals for those children in school who wish to access them.

Breakfast club will be open for children who need access to that.

Online teaching for all other children remaining at home

Staff will provide online teaching for those children working from home including some live lessons. Online learning will commence on Thursday 7th January; further details regarding this will follow tomorrow.
