In LKS2 our new topic is learning about Pop Art. We started our topic yesterday learning about Andy Warhol, a famous pop art artist. The children read articles about Warhol learning facts including his favourite food and the inspiration behind his art work. The children then used Warhol’s artwork to create their own pop art inspired collage. Children in school created collages by cutting, sticking and layering images of artwork, while children at home used their computing skills to create digital artwork.
