Main task – Yesterday we looked at a digital text. Today we are going to use the same film clip to see if we can sequence the story. Can you watch the clip again and remind yourself what happens in the video. Can you remember any of the key points? What were they? Could you retell the story to your grown up in your own words? Remember to use time words in your retell. (Firstly, next, then, after that, lastly.) Use the sheet found either in your home learning pack or on google classroom. Can you read each story part and cut and stick them in the correct order.
Maths: Speed calc – Use the symbols <, > or = between the two numbers. Write answers in your yellow maths book.
Main task – Today we are going to be learning how to find the difference between two amounts when we measure them both. We can do this by saying which one is taller and which one is smaller. Your task is to find and measure 6 objects that you have at home using your paper ruler from your home learning pack. You can write sentences in your maths book to show the differences. For example a pencil and a rubber. Measure and find the difference. Write sentences in maths book ‘the rubber is 2cm shorter than the pencil’. This will be modelled on this morning’s live session.
History and Art: – We have learnt that William the Conqueror was the King in England after winning the Battle of Hastings. Today we are going to look at different kings and queens over the years and explore what they looked like, what they wore etc. Look at the pictures of different kings and queens. What do they look like? What are they wearing? Are there any similarities and differences?
Can you create your own picture of a king or queen, What type of clothing will they have? What will their crown look like? Will they have any other accessories. You can decide what medium to use – paint, pencils, pens, chalks, pastels.
Don’t forget to send us a picture of your masterpiece.
