GAP – Today we are going to look at when we need to use a question mark. Look through the power point to find out why we use questions and what they start and end with.
Main – Today we are going to look at a new book. But before we do can you tell your grown if you have met a superhero before? Who was it? I am going to let you in on a little secret, we all know a superhero! But I wonder who it is?
Watch the clip below called My Mum is a Supermum. Once you have watched it tell your grown up whether you think what happens to Milo sounds familiar. Does it happen in your house too? Does what happens to Milo sound familiar in their house?
Take a look at these words. Can you tell your grown up what they mean?
Ordinary, x-ray vision, wrestling, defeat, defending, suspiciously.
Have a look at the definitions, did you get them right?
Ordinary – something that is normal
x-ray vision – to be able to see through things
defeat – to win
defending – to protect
suspiciously – not trusting someone’s behaviour
Task – Can you colour the word and it’s correct meaning to match each word to it’s definition. (You will find the sheet inside it’s home learning pack.)
Maths: Speed calc – speed calc sheet is in your home learning pack. Can you order the numbers from smallest to biggest? Do the blue numbers first, one line at a time and then if you’d like order the red numbers too.
Main – Yesterday we looked at mass and used ourselves as human scales. Today we will be comparing two objects and their mass using bucket scales. (This will be modelled in our live meet.)
Task – If you have any type of scale at home (digital scale, analogue scale, weighing scales, balancing scales) you could use this to compare the weight of two items. Put one item on at a time and see which is heavier or lighter by checking the numbers. Can you write a sentence to describe the difference in weigh like we did yesterday using the stem sentences. (We will be doing this together in our Maths live meet.)

Main task –
PSHE – This month is LGBT History month and as a school we are taking part in different activities that go with this year’s theme which is Body, Mind, Spirit.
Watch the video to understand the rainbow flag.
Task – Can you decide what medium you would like to use to create your own pride flag or bunting. You could draw your own or use the templates in your home learning pack.
You could use pencils, pens, paints, pastels, chalks or anything else you would like.
Then colour the second flag the different colours of the rainbow flag and write the word to explain what each colour represents.

blue – harmony
purple – spirit
