Todays home learning tasks are as follows:
Phonics:
Our sound today is ‘o-e’. Watch the video to learn todays sound, practise the spellings at the end of the video. At the end can you hold a sentence – The dog stole the bone. Play Picnic on Pluto. Click on the phase 5 and o-e. Can you tell which words are real or fake? Handwriting – practise writing the letter ‘y’ from your handwriting pack.
English:
Spellings – Ask someone at home to test you on this weeks spellings. Main task – Your task today is to retell the story of The Rainbow Fish by cutting and sticking the pictures into the correct order. Watch the story again to remind yourself of the key events in the story. When you cut and stick the pictures into your book, see if you can write a sentence to show what is happening in that part of the story.
Maths:
We are going to continue practising our 5x tables today! Complete the 5x table activity sheet from your home learning pack. Login to TTRs and take part in the ‘garage’ or ‘battle’.
