Good morning year 2, our live meets today are 9.30, 11 and 1.30. Here is your work for today:
English- GAP- Add ing to the root words and remember to double the final consonant.
English- Main Task- We will read the information text together and discuss the key vocabulary. You need to match the subheadings to the correct sections. You should then draw a picture of the life cycle of a frog using arrows.
Maths- Google classroom- Look at the pictures of the clocks and write the correct time next to it.
Maths- Purple Mash- Practice recognising quarter past the hour using the purple mash task.
Reading- Read chapter 3 of Zara and the lost cat and complete the chapter quiz.
PSHE- We will be discussing LGBT History month on our afternoon meet and will read a story called ‘And Tango makes three’. We will then watch a video describing the history of the pride flag. You should then make your own pride flag using any resources you have at home such as; paints, colouring pencils or pens, coloured paper.
