Hello Year 3!
It’s been another superb week where you’ve all worked hard and done yourselves proud. Well done.
Friday’s home learning is as follows:
Before our first Live Meet, please listen to the next chapter (9) of ‘There’s A Pharaoh in my Bath’ and then answer the question in the comments. Can you then practise your 8 x table on Hit The Button or TT Rock Stars please?
9AM Meet: ENGLISH
We’ll have Windy Winners with Mr Newman’s group. Spelling is on Google Classroom and is a spotting homophones task. Please complete the task and then complete the spelling test (after watching the spelling-test video). You then have an English task on Google Classroom where you have to plan a newspaper report about the discovery of King Tut’s tomb. Please watch the teaching video for extra help.
10.30 Meet: Maths
We will be doing more multiplication work. Speed Measure is about calculating perimeter and is on Google Classroom. You also have reasoning and problem solving on GOOGLE CLASSROOM (plus a teaching video for each). For your multiplication fluency, please go to Student and Teacher Login (mathsonline.com.au)
There is NO AFTERNOON LIVE MEET. Your afternoon tasks are as follows:
Please log in to Language Angels – Home School and use username: Windyn4107 and password: lahome. From here, choose Unit 5: Les Fruits from the RED list of topics. Choose Lesson 4, watch the presentation slides and then play the games. The link to the site is on your Google Classroom page.
There is also a post on Google Classroom for PE. There is a new skipping task, plus some other activities – including ‘Among Us.’
Also go to Purple Mash by 2Simple for Chapter 4 of The Ice Cream Villain and then a quiz afterwards.
As part of Children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Week, there will be another short story for you to listen to at the end of the day from The Book Of Hopes.
