Year 5 have been reading a new book, ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar and they are loving it! Today we have been practising our drama skills and children had a go at getting into character. We recreated the trial scene of when Stanley (main character) gets sent to Camp Green Lake. We had police officers, the Mum, Dad, the judge and Stanley. Since children couldn’t use any of their words, they had to use their facial expressions to convey the characters feelings at this moment.
