In LKS2 the children have been conducting investigations, examining the effects of exercise on our circulatory system. We began by learning about our circulatory system and the role it plays within our body. The children conducted two different investigations, one measuring breathlessness and another measuring heart rate. In Tulips the children found that they were the most breathless after vigorous exercise. Snowdrops found that their heart rates were the highest after vigorous exercise compared to after gentle exercise. Take a look at some photographs of our investigation in action.
