Nursery Places at Windy Nook Primary
At Windy Nook Primary we have excellent Early Years provision through our Nursery and Reception classes. All eligible children are entitled to 15 hours of free nursery provision provided over 38 weeks (school term time only). In addition, we offer a further 15 hours of early education to working parents who meet the criteria set by government.
Parents can register their interest in a nursery place via the school office as soon as their child reaches 2 years of age. Registration of interest is not a guarantee of a place, but it does ensure that application forms and associated information will be sent to the registered address prior to the academic year in which your child will start nursery.
If your child was born between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018, they will be eligible for a place in our school Nursery for the academic year starting September 2021.
If your child was born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019, they will be eligible for a place in our school Nursery for the academic year starting September 2022.
We also offer places for early admission to Nursery the term after your child turns 3. These early admissions take place in January and April, subject to places being available.
Due to COVID restrictions, we are currently not offering visits to the school, however, we are hopeful that in the summer term parents can come and visit our Early Years provision.
