Well what an end to our last week of live lessons! The children have worked so hard with their phonics recapping ‘ay’, ‘ee’, ‘igh’ and ‘or’ as well as learning 2 new red words ‘he’ and ‘she’. In literacy the children enjoyed learning about the story Little Red Hen and the different characters and how its nice to be kind and helpful to our friends. They wrote captions about the Little Red Hen asking to help plant the seeds using finger spaces and a full stop. Numeracy saw the children learning to double an amount and to find a half. They also enjoyed learning about the journey of bread and how it is made.
Thanks again to all the adults for their continued support. We are so excited and looking forward to having every one back at school on Monday. Have a great weekend.
