This week in Year 2, we are looking at measuring volume and capacity. Today the children were introduced to the topic through a fun super movers video about how to measure liquids. We then went outside, where the children worked as a team to measure different amounts of liquid. They were careful to make sure they were accurate with their measurements and read the scale correctly. We then took part in an estimating task where children had to guess how much was in different containers. The children had a lot of fun having our maths lesson outside, especially with the weather being so lovely!
