Thursday 4th March, Windy Nook’s children and teachers celebrated World Book Day. As well as being ‘caught reading,’ the children of Windy Nook have done some super work to recognise this global event.
We all celebrated books and reading in a variety of ways. Children wrote book reviews and recommendations, made comic strips and got creative with arts and crafts. We also did A LOT of reading!
Someone who helped us do lots of reading was Mr Atkinson from WH Smith. He very kindly delivered lots of free books for us to enjoy. We would like to say a huge thanks to him for his generosity.
Please take a look at some of our super work for World Book Day.
