This week we have focused on the book, Guess How Mush I Love You, Which is about two hares. We looked at the difference between hares and rabbits. We learned that rabbits sleep underground in warrens and hares sleep above ground. Therefore, hares can run as soon as they are born so that they can keep themselves safe from predators. We also learned that hares have longer ears and legs than rabbits. We used rice cake, fruit and vegetables to make some edible collages of rabbit and hares. During outdoor Friday, we explored on our ‘top field’ and enjoyed some water play and construction activity.
