This morning UKS2 participated in a webinar in which Leigh from Historic Workshops discussed the importance of VE Day.
He will answer the following questions such as:
What is VE Day?
How was VE Day celebrated?
How is VE Day celebrated today?
Why is VE Day celebrated today?
He then gave a brief summary of the war in Europe, including a dramatic revealing of the shocking number of deaths in the worst-affected European countries.
