This week classes in KS1 have researched, planned and made a fruit salad for their DT topic. They started off by looking at pictures of fruit salads and deciding which ones they thought they would like the design and taste of. Then they did some taste testing with different fruits that they described and rated out of 10. Next, they drew a design of what they thought their fruit salad would look like. Finally they made their own fruit salads. The children had to chop, peel and grate different fruits to make it look attractive and tasty! The children all really enjoyed making them and having a nice healthy snack!
