This week, Elms have been practising their measuring skills further by completing an area and perimeter investigation around the classroom. The rain didn’t stop our activity as we adapted to explore measurements in the classroom. Children had to measure tables, whiteboards, chairs and even windows. They then had to use their knowledge of formulas to calculate the area and perimeter. Children loved getting hands on and found finding the measurements of objects in the classroom fascinating!
