This week in Nightingales we have been learning all about local hero, Grace Darling. We have listened to and read her story and thought about what life must have been like to live in a lighthouse. We then looked at some key events in her life and put them on a timeline. Before retelling the story of Grace in our writing books the children had a go at writing some questions for her and pretending to be Grace in the hot seat.
