This week, the children of Lower Key Stage 2 learned a lot about how the Vikings both raided and traded across many parts of the world. The three classes played the ‘raid or trade’ game where they had to decide what to do when they arrived in a new country. Their decisions were based on information they were given about each country e.g. how well defended it was, which items were available for trading and how trusted the Vikings were!
The children were highly engaged with this lesson and all teachers commented on how brilliant the children’s ideas were. Well done everyone for your excellent reading, discussion and smart thinking.
