Yesterday, Bluebells were introduced to the skills of debating. After watching a short film (Spy Fox), children had to decide whether they thought Spy Fox was good at being a Spy or not. Children learned that debate requires persuasive opinions and confident delivery to an audience. After practising in pairs, some children came to the front to debate one of their peers.
