The new Elms class have settled back into school extremely well and it has been wonderful to get to know the children. The children have also enjoyed getting to know new friends during group work and breaktimes.
In English this week, the children have been writing letters to a friend or family member about their personal goals and targets for Year 5 as well as what they are looking forward to most! We also created a wonderful class charter, focussing on how ‘The United Nations Conventions on the Rights of Children’ can influence our year together. We have lots of fun topics coming up such as evolution, rugby and several opportunities to develop our ICT skills further!
