Nightingales have settled into school very quickly today. We have been learning about our new routines and creating rules for our class. We have also been learning about ‘The United Nations Conventions on the Rights of Children’.
We were very excited today to be able to play anywhere in the KS1 yard with lots of different children! We even fitted in some Maths and English! Year 2 is going to be lots of fun!

Article 28: You have the right to a good quality education. You should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level you can.
Article 29: Your education should help you use and develop your talents and abilities. It should also help you learn to live peacefully, protect the environment and respect other people.
