We started by reminding ourselves about verbs by doing our verb rap.
Then, we took turns to act out our adverbs. Children took turns to walk angrily, anxiously, cheerfully, fearfully and grumpily. Can you match the picture to the adverb?
Next the children took turns to talk to each other furiously, timidly and cruelly.
We had some interesting actors in school today! We were laughing ‘heartily’!
